Say Hi to Heather, our Burleson Interim Clinical Director!

Heather currently serves as the Interim Clinical Director at the Burleson, Texas Clinic. She started with Galliant in 2022 where she became a BCBA. From 2022-2024 she served at the Waxahachie, Texas clinic location serving clients from 2 years-12 years of age and supporting BCBA candidates by overseeing their hours and clients. In 2023, Heather moved into the role of Sr. BCBA.

Before entering the field of ABA, she served in the public schools as a Texas Certified Teacher in EC-6 core subjects and Special Education (EC-12) teacher for 6 years, serving children with Autism and Emotional Disturbance. She earned her bachelor’s degree in 2013 at Tarleton State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and in 2021 earned her master’s degree at Arizona State University in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Heather is very passionate about Assent Based Treatment and is committed to advancing the quality of ABA services through compassionate leadership, data-driven practices, and a strong emphasis on client-centered care. When not in the clinic, you can find her with her husband and 3 children, at the ballfields with her youngest son or golf tournaments with her eldest son. She enjoys working out and basketball is her favorite sport!
